From the time you enter River Forest and get the first glance of the course at number two, you will get a feel for what is in store.   The private 18-hole championship golf course opened in October of 2004. The final design was created by Director of Golf Course Maintenance Gary Wilder and Master Shaper Ernest Jones. The course is sure to be a challenging and enjoyable experience for any golfer.   

The course at River Forest was designed to cleverly include natural elements such as granite formations deriving from the Stone Mountain rock system spreading through Georgia. In other areas, strategic placements of rocks and lakes make for a very picturesque experience. The design has amazed golfers throughout the state and the country. The perfect putting bentgrass greens, along with lush fairways, create a wonderful environment for a round of golf.

The ASGA is kicking off the new year with an exciting new program at each monthly gathering.  You won't want to miss the February extravaganza -- Cupid's Reunion, February 8 at 6:30 p.m. at Taco Mac at the Prado.  All single golfers, former single golfers, former single now MARRIED golfers, golfer Wanna-Bees and current members are invited.  We ask that the married folks bring a single guest and prospective new member.  It will be an event you won't want to miss.
