Well, if you were having a hard time believing summer was already gone, it became evident if you participated in the club championship golf event. It was wet and a little chilly but as always a lot of fun!!! But with the chilly temperatures come the holidays and our annual food drive at the November meeting and toys for tots at the December meeting. We hope to see everyone at the next two meetings so we can help out others in our community. The most needed items for the Food Bank are peanut butter, canned tuna, canned beans, canned soups, stews and pastas. 100% fruit juice, canned fruits and vegetables, macaroni and cheese dinners, or whole grain, low sugar cereals. Hope to see you all on November 9th at Firebirds- and for those who don’t visit a grocery store on a regular basis, cash donations can be given also!
