Tom's Pitch Shot

Well, the season got off to a wet start. Everyone showed up, but only seven brave souls ventured out to face the elements at Hampton Golf Village. The rest of us stayed in the clubhouse and enjoyed great conversation and a delicious barbecue lunch. After lunch some decided to go shopping at the outlet mall. I wonder who they could have been.

We have some great events coming up in May, starting with Royal Lakes on the 4th, followed by Georgia National on the 11th. Then comes the annual get together at Tim’s Ford against the Nashville crowd. This event is a really fun time, but unfortunately is sold out. Still, wish our team the best of luck and that we’ll be able to retain the barrel head and bring it back home to Atlanta. Graham has done a super job putting things together on this end and should be commended. Thanks Graham. Also, don’t forget the golf clinics. There are indoor clinics on Tuesdays at the PGA superstores in Buckhead and Roswell, and outdoor clinics at River Pines beginning May 17th. Be sure to check the web site for details and contact information.

The social season really got off to a good start with the Martinis at IMAX in the Fernbank Museum. Those in attendance had a really fun time, especially when the “yellow dress” showed up. You had to be there to appreciate the moment. There are some great social events coming up in May with trap shooting on the 4th and a trip to the Renaissance Festival on the 24th. Again, check the web site for details and contact information.

That’s it folks. If I don’t see you on the course, I hope to see you at Firebird’s on May 12th.

Thanks,
Tom
